We had this thread last year so I suppose we should have it again this year.

We can't all have the same answer.
Some one better have the loss to Radwanska as a worst moment soon.

Best moment : Eastbourne :worship:
Worst moment : Stockholm final
Nov 12th, 2006, 12:58 PM
Best moment: Finals of Istanbul - won more than two matches on clay since her french open victory and Eastbourne for defeating Kuztensova who was her one and only 10 ten victory of the year. Making three finals - that's ok, same as last year... didn't win any of them though!!!:(
Worst moment: Seeing her fall to 16 in the rankings. Her inactivity, injury and her hint at retirement. Don't care much if she never wins another tournament, just as long as competes and is happy.

Best moments: from Istanbul to Wimbledon. Above all on grass we have seen the best Nastya since 2004. For me, the best moment was Monday 15 May when I went in Rome to watch Nastya-Azarenka, first time in my life (and not last I hope) I was able too see a Nastya's match live.
Worst moments: everything after Wimbledon, first the schedule (she should have rested after Wimbledon, skipping WTT and Cincy and coming back in San Diego) an then the foot (+ elbow  ) injury that ruined her chances at US Open and indoor tourneys.

Best: Eastbourne: She played very well and she could have won. Too bad she didn't. But it was a high-quality, very enjoyable match.
Worst: I don't know where to start. Her losses to Radwanska, Peer, Azarenka; her non-existing American summer hard court season; her injuries.
(Honorable mention: the day this forum turned into a gossip forum  )

best moments: grass season especially the matches against JHH and Kuznetsova. Her win against Mirza at RG (I was there!!) where she played great clay tennis
worst moments: hard court season, rumors of retirement....

Best moments: There is so many. Let me tell them all:
Runner-up in Eastbourne, Istanbul and here in Stockholm.
Slams: 4th round in Melbourne, 4th round in Paris, quarterfinals in Wimbledon!
Other tournaments: Semis in Tokyo and quaterfinals in Miami.
I think it’s a lot of great results. I’m proud of Anastasia’s results from January to August 2006.
Anastasia got no titles in 2006, but after all an okay 1st half season.
Worst moments: Of course her injuries, her poor try to make a comeback in Zurich, that Anastasia likes a stupid looking guy (Monkey-Face-Melzer), that I was to shy to ask for Anastasia's autograph, when I saw her matches in Stockholm, that Anastasia don't tell us anything - no interview, no statements from her in ages, her new ugly hair-color.
Best moment => Eastbourne final ( with a victory over Kuznetsova :) )
Worst moment => Her loss to Peer in Istanbul and Montréal

“Mr. Wise Guy” thinks Anastasia can advance in the ranking, when she is injured and she can’t play! No lower limit for how stupid you are allow to be in this forum? :tape:
You're an idiot.
I thought you weren't posting your teen 'gossip' crap here anymore. Go on... run along to that sharapova forum you so dearly love.
By the way, this thread is about Nastya's year overall... no where in my post did I highlight a particular period of the year and what result it had her ranking. I basically said that her end of year ranking just sucks and could have been higher regardless of her injury!
Best - "I'm very happy," Myskina said. "I'm satisfied with my game right now, but doesn't mean that I'm going to really relax right now and say it's good enough for me, quarterfinal. I really want to do even better tomorrow. I think my game is improving every match. And I think I starting play better right now. At least I feel the ball better."
Worst - No Fed Cup
"(The commitment) is too much for me," Myskina said. "This year I want to play for myself. I put a lot of energy into the team. I've played every time they asked me, and I'm always ready to play if they need me, but it's been too much."

She played so well during the grass court season and was so close to winning a title at Stockholm, and from there she kind of tumbled...

BEST- beating ivanovic @ roland garros. making it into the second week in the aussie, french, and wimbledon slams. seeing her smile after beating ivanovic.

Best - seeing her again at the US Open.
Worst - waiting 5 hours in the rain to watch one and a half games; seeing her go down with the foot injury the next day.
