Yes. Please find some more info because there are some people who don't find Wendy Williams to be an accurate person when it comes to some things. :tape:

For now I will say RIP Gerald LeVert. He was a good vocalist and a pretty good role model.

Unfortunately, it is true. They also announced it on 98.7 Kiss-FM in New York also. They are playing his music right now.

Cause of death: Heart Attack

I knew it was a heart attack.
At 40. Damn.
He had one of the sexiest voices in history.
Very, very talented artist.
May he rest in peace...

All our big black vocalist dead in the last 3 years. :(

Luther who gained weight, lost the weight, gained it back again, so much so that some people will ask which Luther you like the most, the fat Luther or the skinny one.

Barry White who I feel some people should thank in their late 20s and 30s for coming into this world.

Gerald Levert who graced the late 80s and early 90s with his soulful vocals.

When is it Pavarotti's turn!!!
Please God don't take Ruben Studdard next.
Can't you just take Meatloaf instead?

In my opinion, this is Mr. White's finest composition:

Rubin has lost a lot of weight. He is now a vegetarian. I also know that Gerald had lost a lot of weight in the past but don't know if he had gained it back.

Don't forget Lou Rawls and Wilson Pickett. (And a one hit wonder who really started reggae's crossova appeal, Desmond Dekker).

Loved his lyrics and smooth delivery. :worship:
40 is too damn young for a heart attack. Why can't folks take better care of their most precious possessions?

When was Lou Rawls ever fat?

When was Lou Rawls ever fat?
I never said he was. Sorry that I didn't interpret your words about losing "big black singers" meaning big as in fat, I meant big stars. (I especially honor Lou for almost singlehandedly keeping the United Negro College Fund in the errr, "black" for years). :worship:

And to RVD, thanks. (Even though we can't jump, some of us do have soul). :tape: In fact the first single I ever bought as a kid was Sweet Talking Guy by the Chiffons, a "pre-Supremes" black girl trio. ;)
