Misa will play at the start of next year:

Tier 4 Hobart
Aussie Open
Tier 2 Paris
Tier 2 Antwerpen

Hobart already has Chakvetadze and Serena Williams too! And that's a pity because Hobart points don't count for Ao seedings, so Misa won't be seeded at the AO.

I thought the Hobart event doesnt usually have any exceptionally good players in it....this year it has three so far

Its alittle sad that Misa isnt coming to the ASB Classic :bigcry:

Hobart usually doesn't, but Sydney is so strong, and Canberra is no more (not that they ever had strong players either), and so I guess Serena wants some match practice instead of playing Sydney (where she'd certainly need a WC). ;)

20 out of top 22 players will play Sydney,so Misa has chance to defend her points in Hobart. :)
Beating Serena in final would be fantastic! :)

^^ Don't be so sure. Misa's not even seeded at Hobart yet! :o (She's 1 off)... although her draw would be much better than if she played Sydney, of course. ;)

Doubles only at New Haven is kinda weird. She's thinking about playing Bali after USO too - but she's not sure coz it'll be alot of tourneys in a row then.

It's her first year on the tour without limitation in the number of tournaments she can play, and apparantly she's been waiting for that to happen.

Anyway, she can still gain a lot of points because she has quite a few tournaments where she lost in the first round. But taking a week off might also be a good idea.

haha yeah well I guess she's not expecting to go so far at every tourney. And Bali is still just a maybe (well I'm hoping a yes, and then I'm begging my boss for some days off  ).

Greetings guys, I just wanted to tell you (in case you didn't know) that Míša is playing Czech extraleague this week (9. 9. - 14. 9.) for 1.ČLTK Prague. Yesterday she played her first match, defeated Iveta Gerlová 6-2 6-2. And today beat Michaela Paštiková 6-2 7-6(3). More info can be found here http://www.tenisovaextraliga.cz. Unfortunately it's only in czech, So I will translate some basics for you to facilitate orientation on that website. Program dne refers to daily order of play, výsledky means results (Míša plays in second group in Přerov) and soupisky stands for line-ups. Of course if you will try to find her results look for Michaela Krajíčková. :o :p
There also is one picture of Míša in the gallery (foto).

And I apologize for posting in this thread, but I wanted to share this info with you and didn't find a more suitable thread.

Her haircut looks alright in that pic! :D
