Shappica

I think she doesn't have a coach. Her mum is always with her, and nobody else...

Jeca is currently by results top 10 player...
She proved that she can, so it's just a matter of time when will that be on paper...
The game is important, not position ;)

Bravo for RBK...

C'mon Jankyslavka :D :p

no, it is the same for every RBK player ! Look at Nicole, she is wearing that dress for about 1-2 years ( I am not sure ) just in a different colour !

I hope they will do something ... Nike is giving new outfit at every GS :sobbing:

Nicole has only worn the dress since AO then it was a different color at RG, just like the other Reebok players.

Amelie and Nicole will have a different dress design for Wimbledon so Jelena should have one too.

well yes, one they get before AO and 2nd before Wimbledon ... 2 dresses per year and Serena have differen "dress" at every tournament

yeah it would be nice if Reebok did dresses for non-slam tournaments.

I think the Wimbledon and US Open stuff this year will be the same designs just in different colors; like it was with the AO and RG dresses. But I think it has been that way for a while now so not sure if it will ever change. :p

Thanks Vaidisova!

Mauresmo will definitely launch brand new outfit at Wimbledon.
Pictures at http://www.abacausa.com/ximagi/search.php?u=&assignment_id=38069 .
I still hope Nicole and Jelena will get the same treatment.

Anyway, would anyone try to provide rough estimates at how
big these endorsment contracts are, money wise? None of the
three (Mauresmo, Vaidisova, Jelena) is even close to what
Venus signed six years ago, $40 million, multi-year Reebok deal,
that is still running.

For Mauresmo, here's a quote by Bloomberg News published
in August, 2006:

Danielle Sessa writes No. 1-ranked female player Amelie Mauresmo, who is openly gay, “lags behind her rivals in endorsements.” In addition to equipment sponsorships with Reebok and Dunlop, Mauresmo currently has deals with only France-based natural gas company Gaz de France and eyeglass retailer Alain Afflelou SA. Octagon’s Micky Lawler, Mauresmo’s agent, declined to say how much Mauresmo makes from endorsements, but The Bonham Group Chair Dean Bonham estimated she likely earns $1-2M per year. Lawler said that Mauresmo “hasn’t been offered and isn’t seeking deals with companies that cater to gays and lesbians”.

Vaidisova has signed her multi-year Reebok endorsement in 2005,
at the age of 15, when she was ranked 75th. Jelena signed her deal
October 2006 for two years. Both of these contracts must have
been incentive-based, in Jelena's case majority of the clauses
kicking in this year. I'd say Vaidisova is making less than $1M
per year from Reebok, and Jelena probably over $1M, but not by much.

Wow, I suck at research. You're good.
Those outfits look nice.
I'd have to see it on the players though.
Thanks Vaidisova!

Mauresmo doesn't get too much because she doesn't have conventional "feminine" features.
But I'm really surprised that Vaidisova doesn't get more money in endorsements. Same with Jankovic.
I guess that will change once they win their first slams. ;)

Those were only estimates. Fine prints of all contracts
I couldn't find, so I went conservative. Next round of
dealings should bring fortune to both Nicole and Jelena.

Well, I couldn't even give you an estimate of how much Mauresmo earns myself. I just have no clue! :o

Nicole & Jelena will earn tons more soon, not doubt.

Jelena left out of new Reebok "Run Easy" campaign. Grrrr.
Listen to the ad carefully, it provides a hint why Nicole
was chosen over Jelena. :o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL1yydsut50

Reebok is promoting its “Run Easy” approach to running with TV ads featuring amateur and professional athletes running at the speed of chat. Their conversations mesh together to create a humorous conversation covering everything from moving to Mars, dating, recipes and unthinkable behavior.

Runners in the Reebok advertising campaign include basketball legend Allen Iverson, soccer standout Thierry Henry, track and field stars Carolina Kluft and Aries Merritt, football icons Vince Young, Chad Johnson and DeAngelo Hall, tennis phenom Nicole Vaidisova, acclaimed actress Emmanuelle Chriqui, cricket stars Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni and street skateboarder Stevie Williams.

As things are going it seems that RBK is the worst and most lazy company so any change of cloth sponsor would be good for JJ

I don't know why, but I doubt JJ will wear this red outfit. If this really will be Reebok's collection than I fancy much more Shahar's outfit, cause it would look much better on Jelena. Plus, in JJ's model a visor is presented which makes me doubt even more cause we all know Jelena doesn't wear them at all :o
But, I would be very happy if she would wear in night session that black outfit she wore at Exho, or that gorgeous purple outfit from YEC :hearts:
