She hasn't played top-100 worthy tennis in 3 years. I don't see her back in the top-100, sorry!

Her matches this year have been top 100 worthy ... against Shruff & Razzano ... she almost beat them and both were in the top 100 (Razzano in the top 50 at the time I think) ... She just got nervous closing them out.

You mention two matches against countrywomen (which she even lost!). Doesn't sound very convincing I'm afraid

I say yes. As a long time fan I won't stop believing in Jelena.

She is too good to be written off just like this in my opinion. I saw her at AO last year, she definitely has the game. She just needs to find a coach/mentor that will help her settle down and really solely focus on tennis.

i hope so, she is still young, if she really works hard on this, she can get back to the top, didn't jennifer only win her first slam at 24 ;)

I didn't say she won them or that she was playing fantastic tennis. But her level of play in those matches was top 100 if you had seen them.

Jelena will be back in the top 100. But(t) she needs much time to manage that, I think.

She“s still so young (born on 04-12-1983) and can have so many good years in herself.

Jelena, train your ass off and than celebrate your big comeback on the WTA-tour. Maybe we“ll see you in quite a good form at the Aussie Open next January in Melbourne, yet ? :bounce:

I simply love you - your tennis and your female curves...:smooch:

yes i reckon she can reach the top 100 again but on these conditions:
1. she needs 2 be match fit (even if that means playing ITF events, it'll her help her get over the nerves of closing matches out & keeping up her intensity like some top players do)
2. she needs 2 work her butt off but not completely overload & not be LAZY!. a fews hours of training a few days a week cannot hurt her progress but help her
3. believe in herself (belief is the key 2 success)
4. keep away from her father completely (i cannot stress this enough people)
5. have fun & enjoy playing, chill out & relax
6. don't take matches 4 granted (a mistake she has done when she played razzano at the aussie open this year)
u no that she could break in2 the top 100 next year because she has the game capable of doing it, but it's just the mental side that's letting her down.

good luck jelena on the long road 2 the top 100

So there are two matches where she has played top 100 level - and then there are countless others where she was more like top 1000. :tape:

The issue is not that she's not capable of playing top 100 level.
The issues are lack of consistency, commitment, right people around her, motivation, etc.

Hence my vote for NO! :)

if she can enter 100 then I'm sure she will be top 25 in no time, but only if she plays full schedule.

as much as I love Dokic I sadly think she won't crack into the top 100 again

She can:she is talented

Look at Capriati,Pierce.

She needs to gain confidence and she'll get back into top 100.

Most of the players outside the top 100 have had 2 matches where they played at top 100 level. It doesnt mean that they will be ranked in the top 100 in the future.

If she actually commites to playing a full calendar year and not simply losing motivation and giving up after tough losses, then I truly believe she will.

If she just says fuck it after losing a couple matches, and goes on hiatus for no given reason all the time, then no.

That being said, she probably wont. But she really should, and it saddens me to think about it.

Shes on the WTA ranking computer and is still a player on tour, so no, its staying in GM. Stay out of her threads and deal with it.

She has the game and the talent, she just needs to start winning some matches and get her confidence back
