Martina Hingis: her best year ofcourse was 97 but when she reaches her best game was between 99 and 00:D. 02 her worse year, injuries retirement, matchpoints in AO:mad: :tape: 06 was (and is) very exciting because of her returns to the game but i was a litle disapointed, in the beginnig of the year she was fantastic till rome but then all good but nothing special:sad:

I'd have to say last year was Patty's best year, even though she won Zurich in 2002.

This is Nadia's best year. :D

Peng's best year was definitely last year.

Dinara's had her best year, but hopefully next year will be even better.

Ouch. This hasn't been a very good year for you then. :o

Except for Maria.

Last year was good at it was ONE OF Lindsay's Best Years plus Venus.

Let's say the US Open turned it around for me.

Lindsay:

2006 easily qualifies as the worst year of her professional career. It contains her second longest layoff because of injury (the longest being in 2002 when she had knee surgery). Her lowest year end ranking since 1992 (when she was ranked 159). Only the second year of her pro career where she has failed to win a singles title(the other being 2002). And it is the first time since 1994 that Lindsay has failed to qualify for the Tour Championships(she qualified in 2003, but didn't play due to foot surgery).
Horrible Year.

Best: Debatable. 1998, 1999, or 2000 all can qualify.

 That's pretty easy as Misa only played 2 full years on the tour!

Best: 2006 - because she won 2 titles, and made top 50. :D
Worst: 2005 - that knee injury at Rosmalen! :fiery:

Lindsay Davenport is experiencing her worst tennis year in her career but she has had lots of fantastic years
i thought the streak during the US Open hardcourts in 2004 was spectacular...2005 also was a pretty good year for with reaching 2 GS finals and collecting 6 titles along the way....1998, 1999 and 2000 were similarly good as well....

Can there ever be a worst year for JHH?
She's won at least 1 GS since 2003, Final of Wimbledon in 2001.... :worship:
Maybe 2002 worst, but she made the semis of Wimbledon. :O :tape:, but I'm not entirely sure, given the fact that I only became a fan of hers in 2003. 2003 was of course her best, and 2006 is to me, her second best.
