That shoulder is definitely bothering her. Some of those serves were so lacking it was a miracle the ball actually made it over the net.

It's a bit unfortunate for her that she's second on court tomorrow after being last on court tonight. Doesn't give her a lot of recovery time.

The worst match I ever saw. Jelena played without serve since the middle of the 2. set just throwing the ball into the court, making some double faults or giving her rival opportunity to attack it.
There are two interesting moments in this match:
1. Jelena looked as she would have been injured (right shoulder), but she did not call for trainer. In the post-match court interview there was a question of the Austrian reporter to S. Bammer: "Jankovic`s shots and specially serve looked strange today. Do you think, she was injured?" Bammer`s answer: "I know Jankovic very well. She is a big actress. So it is hard to believe in an injury."
2. I know it is not fair to judge a player on the base of a single match but I really do not understand how somebody of Bammer`s quality can be in top 100. She has absolutely no good shots, her timing is a disaster and she makes mistakes on the most simple balls. I am sure that every other player in top 200 would have bashed Jelena regarding her game today, but Bammer was making tons of mistakes.

It was a miracle Jelena won this match, Bammer is a joke, she couldnt beat Jankovic who cant serve and play 50% of her power.
Vesnina is lucky to play 2 injured players in a row.

it will be no surprise if jankovic wd's especially with that unsympathetic timing of her next match. what is it with schedulers that they make her play last thing at night then an early match next day? they did that in stuttgart where she played last thing late evening then had to play sveta 1st or 2nd match next day.
