She would have a better career than maria when she won Wimbledon?

its an "if" question ofcourse we all know the real answer ;)

yes, her acheivements for her age at that time would have been hgiher than Maria after Wimbledon, except if some people were to consider wimbledon more prestigious than FO

What a stupid question.

Firstly, she didn't win it.
Secondly, you can't say what tennis player will achieve in the future.

That you' re playing good at 18, doesn't mean that you will later.

There were so many promising players, who did nothing.

i was saying at that point when maria won wimbledon and if nicole had won the french open read the question before your doing this fanatic post

Yes, I think if she would have won it, she would have had a much easier time passing Sharapova. Because if I had to win a Grand Slam (especially with the gamestyle of Vaidisova), I'd want to get French Open out of the way first. If she would have got that under her belt, I would have given her a good chance of taking Wimbledon or US Open down the line, if that makes sense.

Nicole played superbly at the French Open - she has plenty of time.

I think (but I understand your question ;) )that she has plenty of time to win several Gc and it's not the one who start at the first place who finish number one of the end(of number of Gc or titles). ;) You know, think to girls like Golovin,Ana and Nicole.Their are the future of the wta and whatever they not have a Gc at 17 yers old. They will have plenty of titles soon. ;)

is a stupid question from every view! IMHO they are two different characters and with two different style of plays plus two different style of life! no matter if they are both teenagers and young, please think twice before making a new thread!

No, because as everybody else has pointed out, she didn't.

Masha, in '04, moved into the Top 3 and positioned herself to be #1 soon thereafter.

Even if Nikki had won the FO, she hasn't won enough tournaments or done well enough at other Slams for her '06 to compare to Masha's '04.
