I saw her at Wimbledon against Ai (my Wimbledon 'partner' dragged me around to all the bagel girl Brit matches :p:tape: ) and, she was fat. But, her game looked very good.

Anne Jones was sitting right behind us for that match. :)

I hate to admit it but Britain has at least 3 good girls coming up through the ranks

1) Naomi Cavaday
2) Jade Curtis
3) Tara Moore

Be interesting to have an Australia vs. England team event to see who would win

Elena was born in Ukraine, her dad, who played football, then went to Ipswich (near where I live) so she lived in East Anglia, then she moved to Scotland with her mother, or something along those lines. Hopefully she will be back for 2007

Naomi has got the potential, we just need to make sure that she gets a good coach for the seniors, not just the usual crap that the LTA throws at the British players :o

I was also impressed by her at Wimbledon in her match against Ai. I loved her lefty game. Her results @ Birmingham were good as well, with a win over Poutchek & a tight loss to Czink. But like others have said, she doesn't look to be in great shape. Once she matures (more experience in big matches) and gets fitter, I could see her having some solid results. I'm not sure about her being the "next big thing" or anything, but a solid player for sure.

mel south is good, could get in the top 100, and cavady and jade curtis should be in the top 100, when they get a bit more experience :p

As long as she gets a good coach, gets in shape and works her ass off, you never know - Muller got there :tape: :bounce:

She's just going through a bad patch. I saw her play Schiavone at Wimbledon, and she really impressed me, with her shot selection, and calmness. She should have a bright future. :yeah:

Well, if you want to talk "UK tennis" and "big", you can't forget Annabel Croft. Huh? What? Merely having "big" hair doesn't count?
