See poll.

Please note that "toilet-breaks" refers to both the number and timing of toilet-breaks allowed (I had to edit the poll-options due to the 100-character limit).

I think players should be allowed to take as many bathroom breaks as they need, but I think players should not be allowed to leave the court.

So there should be a WC cubicle underneath the umpire's chair, say - or do you mean they'd have go in full view of everyone?

There is already a rule which is enforced by tournament umpires during matches. Get over it. I think its a little strange that fans are attempting to control when professional tennis players can and cannot use the bathroom during a tennis match. Way too controlling.

 I liked the extra hawkeye challenge for the opponant.

I mean you can't reasonably stop players going to the toilet... sometimes you just gotta go. And yes, it can sometimes be used at an "interesting" time in the match but...

I think there is something medically wrong with girls who need the toilet during tennis matches. I mean as professional athletes you would think they would be able to figure out a way to go pee-pee sometime before the match and then drink a suitable amount so they stay hydrated but don't need to go again for several hours.

If I had to change the rules I would ban bathroom breaks during the first 2 hours of a match... if a girl had to go she could either wet herself publicly or default (this would be called a wee-fault). Also, I would rename the tour the World Tennis and Bladder Capacity Association.

So when you have to play a long match, you've NEVER had to go to the toilet? COme on - it's not like every player is going every match or something...I hardly ever see toilet breaks during matches, and sometimes you really do have to go. What's the fact that they are professional athletes got to do with needing to pee occasionally during a match? I mean they aren't scientists to sit there and work out exactly how much fluid they need to rehydrate themselves without having to pee...coz it depends on a hell of alot of factors too - temp, length of match...etc...

if the umpire can sit it out without a break then why not the players ;)

It's easier to hold when you are sitting...but the umps should be able to go to the loo at the end of a set or something if they really have to!
