What the hell is happening with Women tennis? In Montreal there were already many injuries.
Clijsters is still injuried. Henin had an injury after the US Open and haven't played since.
Mauresmo also injuried, now she played again and withdraw again.
Chakvetadze won Moscow, but she can't play Zurich.
And then there's the Myskina story.
Sanchez Lorenzo retired cause of her injuries.
Ivanovic couldn't play Stuttgart and Zurich and I still don't know if she can play Linz.
In the 2nd round of Zurich we lost already Golovin and Schiavone cause of injuries. I'm sure the list is even longer than this. What is going on? This ain't normal at all.

Francesca    She could barely move and was in serious pain. At least she won a game.

I hope Justine is watching after what she did at the Fed Cup. Fran had the same injury but played a set, Justine could have to and it was doubles.

Francesca = :worship:

Didn't make much of Timea, she didn't do much, she didnt't have to.

sad for Fran, that she played on in the pain, but credit to her for turning up, when so many others would pull out for something less than that :yeah:

That Bacsinszky girl looked quite impressive in her 1 set :D

Poor Fran, do she a Kveta still have a chance to qualify for doubles at YEC? If so I hope the injury doesn't stop them playing....

Frannie I think it's time to call it a year before you keep getting hurt. Kveta I think would understand.

Get well soon and be ready for 2007.

This went by so fast that I couldn't get a good look at Bacsinszky's game as I intended.

Schiavone couldn't move, and shouldn't have played to begin with.

Bacsinszky seems like the kind of player that uses heavy topspin to increase the odds of getting a few shots in. :o 75 points from heaven. Players who are so much better than her have to toil for months to get half as many points.

Time to type in her name several times to make sure I'm beginning to spell it correctly:

Bacsinszky
Bacsinszky
Bacsinszky
Bacsinszky
Bacsinszky

She has been lucky at this event, but who are these girls that are "so much better than her". She has won a 75k this year
