I just read that Ashley Harkenroad and Alex Bogomolov were divorced. In fact, the divorce is final already. The info is from ******************** (we aren't allowed to post a link) and they interviewed Alex at a tournament yesterday.

I'm not surprised to hear this after what I saw this year down in Miami. He was treating her like a servent, bossing her around and pulling on her arm. They were just too young for marriage.

Hopefully now both of them can get on with their tennis careers. Ashley has way too much talent to let it go to waste. I don't care anything about him.

How is he going to provide for himself now? :p I'm really worried :o

Thanks for the news. It's all good for Ashley :bounce:

well I think if it had lasted that would've been more shocking considering her parents didn't approve.

This must be a relatively recent development. When Harkleroad played Golovin at the US Open, Bogomolov was three seats away from me, pretty vocally rooting for Ashley the entire time.

If it's true, it's good news. Alex is a whiny, annoying player. Nice to see Ash moving on.

If it's true.

Let's be blunt - he had a run in or two with the ugly stick :smash:

Yay for Harkleroad winning again :D

It all looked a little false :help: And he could've at least made the effort to wear more than a polo shirt and a baseball cap for the Pre-Wimbledon Party :o

woah.. its a shame they got married in the first place, its probably hindered ashleys career over all... i remember her being one of the stars of the future before she got wed. interesting. I wonder if Ashley will keep on surging up the rankings now?

After what I saw at Bronx tennis classics, I am not surprised either. That argument was not healthy.

He can't. He's a pimp. In Quebec city he always was wearing that huge baggy white hoodie shirt, with a baseball cap under it and some jewelry. I thought Eminem turned out to be a Tier-III tennis fan.

He could've at least pimped out his bling or something, got a golden tooth, wore a bullet-proof vest like 50 Cent - even gangsta's make the effort every now and then

Time for me to have a chance with Ashley :)

Well if at least not me...I think her and Andy Roddick would make a good looking couple. She seems sweet and innocent so maybe she would be able to tone down some of his on court anger. And he could do the same for her since she gets down on herself at times.

I can't comment on the dynamics of their marriage because I don't know what happened. From a physical perspective though, she's gorgeous and he looks like he came straight out of the trailer park. He better have been hung like a moose because she can do much better than that.

I was thinking the same thing. Then, I remembered reading that they used to date.

OTOH, maybe a reunion would not be bad.

Plus, since Ashley's a southern girl, she probably would not mind coming to Texas.

I'm not surprised at all, and I think he definetly put a lot of pressure on her to win from what I heard. Considering he's such a lousy player, I think she'd have a lot of pressure to support the two. Luckily for her it's over. She's way to young and she should focus on tennis and enjoy her life.
