If I have counted right Miriam will fall up to place 132 next week

It makes me so sad because she said that her retirement depends on her results. She only will continue next year if her ranking and her results are good enough ...

Hmm, don't worry, from now on the good results have to come! ;)

I was there today and I saw Miriam lose to Anne Kremer, the tournament's 7th seed but someone I thought Miriam should have been able to beat. Neither of them played well, so if Miriam had not missed so many volleys (she kept hitting them into the net) she might have won, or at least forced a third set. AARGGH!!
There's just one consolation if Miriam does fall so far in the rankings, it will mean (other things being equal) Boogie will move up a place!

Actually, it's better than that for Boogie. She'll move up 2 places on Monday, thanks to Seda dropping points as well :(
