Is Birmingham ever televised? I've looked high and low and can't find any trace of Maria's matches there on DVD or in any other format, and I am wondering if there is in fact any coverage of this event on TV. Does anyone know for sure?

I've just got to find some video of her in that 3/4 sleeve top from the 2005 tournament. That was gorgeous on her.

And Eurosport also showed Queens together with BBC, the same matches,
not sure about British Eurosport, though,
But Eurosport International and BBC Interactive were showing the same thing,
only, of course, Eurosport less. I think Eurosport also showed Halle, though.

Tournaments without internet streaming video should be forbidden.
That is a solution, at least streaming on the internet

Yes. BBC shows Queens two weeks before Wimbledon and Eastbourne the week before. I don't know why Eurosport don't cover it, but they usually use pictures from the local broadcaster rather than taking their own

really? I have no idea who the broadcaster would be because I'm pretty sure bbc would have first option, maybe a russian maria fan can confirm this, also I'm surprised if this is the case no russian has captured and uploaded it.

Yes, what russian TV?

I know that ntv+ package on satellite now has a russian Tennis channel,
it is probably worth having, I'm thinking about getting it on satellite somehow, perhaps through CS for some small fee, because officially it is probably not available outside Russia.

I'm more interested in who would actually have recorded this.

No idea who recorded it, but the first and second set tie breaks and the presentation ceremony were posted on Zvonareva's web site - http://www.zvonareva.ru/media/video/en

well I tryed a google from the name that was onscreen but found nothing, the video itself is good quality but is interlaced(jagged lines),which means it probaley came from a dvd(that should have been deinterlaced) and the framerate is from ntsc and not pal.

I wonder if that video came from Mediazone:

http://www.mediazone.com/channel/tennis/jsp/tennis_wta.jsp

They do list matches available for Birmingham.
