I liked so much the Wimbledon dress. The US hardcourt outfits were sporty and nice. Uhm the USO... I can't chose, cause I liked the day and night ones as well, but if I have to say one, it will be the day version because of the cap. :)

Loved both the US Open dresses.
Third one is a bit tougher since I kinda like 'em all. I went for the Miami outfit since it was pretty cool and different. :)

Wow, that is a fabulous picture of her at Indian Wells. I don't remember her outfit being so pretty, but it's real nice. Still, I'll pick the glorious U.S. Open winning Audrey Hepburn inspired dress.

I didn't really like the US Open day dress, or the Australian Open one, but all the others are great. It's hard to decide between them. I gave a vote to birmingham because it's so simple. Tops is the US Night Dress. :)

Birmingham was great! That blue color! I think tops+skirts suit Maria better than dresses.
Can't wait to see what she will wear in Moscow!

The Miami dress is getting surprisingly few votes. Too adventurous?

Wimbledon wasn't that bad, was it?

US Open night dress is a strong leader at the moment

I liked Miami, but it did draw a lot of criticism at the time for being too "hard"

It was nice, but didn't stand out - too bland, I suppose.

but it did look good...I dont think the lighting at night helped, it was dull

It was nice, but didn't stand out - too bland, I suppose.it was too loose and ill-fitting IMO especially after the last 2 yrs of quality Wimby dresses ;)
but the flower thing on the back was good

That's the best one for me as well. The colors looked good on her. Very stylish without being over the top.

out of this list, i'd have to go with the french. i wish she wore more of that. i'm a sucker for things pink and frilly.

For some reason i think that us open night dress is more hype than substance. her arms looked way too big because of the huge collar's cut. the day dress was better imo and most importantly, it photographed better. maria could have also fixed her hair better as well whenever she wore that black night dress but then i liked seeing her that way (hair kinda messily tied) in that it signalled to me that the reason she was out there most of all was to win the damn tournament, audrey hepburn dress and all.

;) Well I would have to say at first that the best color that goes whith masha, to my eyes, is blue. So I voted at first for all her bluish outfits. Australian open 2006, Indianwells 2006... ;)

 It's true that I also found that the pink that she weared in the french, the white top/the black mini jupe that she weared in Birmingham and the white she had in Wimbledon made her look really hot ! Waooo...

:fiery: A contrario, the black that she weared in Us open night just wasn't fabulous... I was absolutely convinced that she was going to win that masters and I think she was too and, for that beautiful occasion, she should have worn a princess outfit... :fiery:

:worship: In any way, whatever the outfit you wear, masha, I will allways be in absolute love with you ! :worship:

So the US Open dress is still clear leader with 33 votes, though being caught up

but...

French Open pink has moved into a clear second place in the poll with 24

followed by US Open Day with 20

As for the Purple dress of Zurich, it wasn't bad, but the skirt was a little heavy

I liked the purple dress,I'm not sure if we will see maria in skimpy tops and skirts anymore as she seems intent on making fashion statements.

I voted for the US Open Night dress, as I think that was simply gorgeous. And, of course, I have great memories associated with it. :)

I'm of the mind that the AO dress was fantastic, as well. I know lots of people hated it, but I think it was gorgeous. It was sort of modern and old-fashioned at the same time.

She seems to always wear pink at RG, and she is always pretty in pink.

Those would have been my top-3.

Well, she won back-to-back "weeks" with that outfit, so it's not all bad.

(BTW, what is it with this argument over back to back? In some sites, they say she won back-to-back tournaments for the first time. What? Just to be clear, I said "weeks", because I think she already won back-to-back with Birmingham-Wimbledon in 2004. She won two consecutive tournaments she played, that's back-to-back in my book. Just my opinion. Not directed at you, btw.)

Dan, I think I see why you like that outfit so much.

And people forgot her back-to-back win in Seoul and Tokyo easily as they are not as big:)

And people forgot her back-to-back win in Seoul and Tokyo easily as they are not as big:)

yeah, that one too!

apparently, the news people who wrote that she won back-to-back for the first time after Linz expect her to enter the draw of every tournament each week and win them in order for a "back-to-back" to count. IMO, as long as she wins two consecutive tournament where she's entered in the draw and actually plays, that counts as a back to back. they have to be reasonably close, though, not six months in between :). like Birmingham-Wimbledon in 2004, obviously nobody should expect her to also win Eastbourne that year because she skipped that tournament. her victories in the grass in 2004 count as a back-to-back to me.

I think Maria's recent outfit is meant to send a message, and it's a message that Nike would make. Remember, during the Jordan years, it was "It's not the shoes."

With Maria's Moscow/Zurich/Linz outfit, the message is:"It's not the armpits."
:) :) :)

Seriously though (yeah, right), the new outfit does hide her now bigger physique very well. Opponents tend to relax a bit, and forget her improved power and stamina, they get kicked in the butt as a result.

I didn't really like the Linz/Zurich outfit, or the Moscow variant. The skirt was hung loww and awkward and was too heavy-looking. It made Maria look heavy and lumpy with short legs!
