Will Venus be slamless this year if ALL WILLIAMS FINAL continues up to the US Open?

Venus has a 5-3 winning record against serena, and didnt play well at all during their last two meetings. If they happened to play on a good day for venus then she would have a chance at winning. Its not fair to write her off against serena just because she happened to be in bad form during their last matches.

i think maybe she would win the US OPEN. Serena is just waay too determined to win Wimebeldon like she said in Diary, so I think her will alone would win her the match. But if she is to beat Serena she has to turn her game up a notch, but its not to say that its not possible for her to beat her.

I don't think so. Venus is always so determind at Wimbledon and the US Open, and at Wimbledon her game seems to pick up. Even with Serena's determination, if Venus turns up the mental meter Serena won't be able to win, not yet anyway.

Serena will have to keep up her form to what is has been the last few months. Will she be able to do it? Time will tell. Venus looked more stoic than usual after the recent loss. She is plotting and scheming to win the U.S. Open. When she plots and schemes, she wins. She was not playing at the top of her game Saturday and underestimated Serena. She will not make that mistake again. Back to Serena keeping her form up. Venus will want this very much. I think she will get it.

Being slamless for a year is better than being slamless for three years and counting:p

Serena is considering this a great rivalry and for sure would prove that she's really the true no.1. This would serve as an inspiration for her to seek for more glory.:angel:

I doubt very much whether if the all williams final came up at the us open venus would go slamless.

Venus had to give up her crown to younger sis so i expect that she will be allowed to keep this one.

I Think it would be really interesting if Venus does not win a slam this year. We have seenher at the top, but what if she does not win? How will she react?
I Thint it would be great if she played more tournaments! (and SERENA).
