Yes Nina_rus :) She is very popular now, even more popular than Wynne Prakusya and any other Badminton players which basically the main sport in Indonesia.

Her achievements are just awesome, to be able to win three junior grand slam titles (2 single and 1 double) is something that hadn't been achieved by any Indonesian player in the past, or maybe by any Asian players (hmmm, I am not sure with Kimiko Date).

I hope she can maintain her performance and hopefully can level the achievement of Kimiko Date of Japan to reach #4 in senior level. Not an easy task :)

Well.. angie will not be playing in US open junior.. that's what she said.. the reason .. mm.. i'm too sure.. some kind of givin in to other junior player :p :p no.. j/k.. but not sure bout that.. /she is going to focus on pro rite now.. no more junior.. she's still considering to paly in Wimbledon to defend her title..

I'm so happy that lotz of people like her.. according to them in Indonesia.. they compared her w/ Wynne.. which i dun think is not appropriate... Wynne only major in doubles.. for single she always loses in early round!!

I believe that she'll be the next Susi Susanti.. badminton is popular.. but not as much as last time.. Nowadays indonesians badminton is going down!! keep on losing to China or Denmark..

I'm not sure whether tennis is popular.. but for me i've been watching tennis since i was sec 1.. LOL..

Go Angie!!

Congratulations, Angie! Hope she can defend her title in Wimbledon successfully! Maybe she's the most famous woman athlete in Indonesia now. (Because there is no Susi Susanti anymore???)
But I think she's not the first Asian player who win 2 singles GS, Naoko Sawamatsu did.
