Don't get your hopes up too high, coz you will probably end up being disappointed... If you don't expect too much from her, the wins feel even better! ;)

Will they have the challenge system at Australian Open?
Because I do not want the repeat of the semifinal with Justine from this year,
where Masha already won a game in the 3rd set, but thanks to a wrong line call the game was eventually given to Justine. The third set ended 5:5, as far as I'm concerned,
I still cannot get over it.

actually 6-4 to maria cos she would have been 4-2 up rather than 4-2 down in 3rd set if it weren't for the mistakes.

Yes, challenge system is definately a benefit for maria.

Yes, I had that feeling too, especially with the game Masha herself expressed doubts about, but somehow I had no evidence, perhaps I need to examine the recording more carefully again.
but I am 100% sure about one game only, where she won the game with a backend cross that landed on the side line, almost one third of the ball on the line.
I downloaded an xvid made from the Australian tv broadcast, and it showed hawk-eye view of that point. So it is the proof, if you can consider hawk-eye view accurate enough.
But it is officially accurate enough for US Open.
Eurosport did not show hawk-eye views for some reason, but australian tv did.

To be fair, Justine served an ace in the crucial game she lost in the first set,
it was called out wrongly, hawk-eye showed it.
But still, it was not the game-ending point, and she still had the second serve.
More important are game-ending point errors.

BTW, such game ending errors were made also when Hingis was eliminated,
not just Masha suffered from that...
