View Full Version : Gallofa, that organisation is supposed to be like the BBC, fair and unbiased

If you fail to respond to my PM which was in reply to your PM then I will have no choice but to 'discuss' my concerns in public.

I think it would be better for all concerned to resolve this issue in private.

The choice is yours.

I think all forms of media can have a certain slant, sometimes it all comes down to the individual journailist.

the BBC is a non commercial organisation and is probably the most respected News organisation in the World and all in all it does have a rep for being fair and balanced.

Jay, I am the office right now, believe it or not, I have some other things to do :D - now, if you really rather discuss this with a different moderator, I can pass your whole PM with all your points (which I am still working through) to a different person, who doesn't know you and is not at all interested in your website.

Your choice.

I do believe that you are at the office.

So am I ;)

but you've had over 24 hours to reply and you've been online on many occasions since it was sent.

The last PM you haven't even bothered to open it.

And what has moderators on this board got to do with it.

I don't see the connection between this board and it's moderators and the organisation that I was referring to.

are you sure the BBC didn't mean that he had a chance to 'win a match' and not 'win the French' ? :p

Jun 7th, 2002, 10:39 AM
....no I think you mean Tim had a chance to 'win a point' not a match ;) :p ....

I meant a different moderator/editor/master of the WWW, whatever you want to call it. As I said, I have many things to do, I am leaving for a Congress in Den Bosch tomorrow at 8 a.m. I won't be able to read or address your concerns until I am back... which won't be until the 18th of June. I am afraid that you are going to have to wait. But please do re-submit your whole concerns again, in my absence, someone else will probably read it.

If you want, I can promise not to edit your website, so that other "fairer" editor may do it. How's that?

above the teletext site there was a headline something like Henman seeking big succes at the french open LOL;)
in australia I heard the commentators say if he wins this match he will reach the final for sure(but then he lost anyway that day;))

the 18th is fine,

I don't care if it's a few weeks

It would have tken you 2 seconds to acknowleged my reply or to even have read my last one but you knew that my points were indisputable and so chose to ignore it.

However if your decision is fixed then I think I will address my concerns at a higher level then editor/moderator/whatever.

We've done some digging and come up with some facts that support our claims that there's been a 'fix'.

I might even write an article about it on our front page.

Jun 7th, 2002, 10:54 AM
Fine then. I'll get back to you in two weeks :D I will investigate who gave the other site the recommendation and see if your claims have any truth to them. If they do, I'll make sure to see that things are sorted. If they do not, I'll also make sure to make a note of it.

Jun 7th, 2002, 10:56 AM
Oh and btw, I'll get in touch with you by PM if you don't mind. Since this whole thing does not concern anyone else in this Board.

Jun 7th, 2002, 10:57 AM
that was all I ever wanted

just some communication in PM

I'll speak to you in 2 weeks :)
