Well, i was just wondering about that question

In Denmark we've got Caroline Wozniacki from the ITF. And, yeah! Sje is really famous in Denmark.. We DON'T have any 'lady' on the wta tour.. Maybe one which is ranked in the top 400 :tape: And Caroline is already above her..! Really impressive :p

And that's why tennis in Denamrk ain't in SO high level.. But who knows ? Maybe about 10 years caroline will crack the top 10 wta ?

Ye there's Naomi Cavaday whose top 30 ish in juniors ( think) and Jade Curtis whose also somewhere in top 100. Theres a few good juniors in the under14 range too apparently, a few in Bollitieris too.

I didn't count Elena ( ) because she isn't playing at least for another year.

AUSTRALIA is banking on two girls at the moment - Samantha Stosur and Alicia Molik. Both are now in or nearing their mid-20s. So far, Molik has achieved a Top 10 ranking. It took her about 6 years on the tour to get to that level and after her illness, she has to start her career all over again. She's not 18 anymore, so it's going to be a tougherchallenge for her. Stosur is at playing the best tennis of her career so far. She is in a respectable Top 40 position as a singles player, but is also the No. 1 doubles player in the world. While Molik has come closest to being in contention for Grand Slam singles titles, it's in doubles that both have won Grand Slam titles. Behind Stosur and Molik is a severe deficit in talent. I don't know what level you'd call that but it's not the worst in the world. Just not the best either. Somewhere in the middle, i suppose.
