First-Ever Special Louis Armstrong Night Session

FLUSHING, N.Y., September 2, 2006 -- For the first time in US Open history, the USTA has added a special night session in Louis Armstrong Stadium on Sunday, September 3rd, exclusively for fans holding tickets from any of the five sessions cancelled up to this point.
Concurrent with the scheduled evening session in Arthur Ashe Stadium, the thousands of fans affected by the cancelled sessions will be treated to matches featuring world No. 1 Roger Federer and the world No. 1 doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan.
Only fans with tickets from the following sessions will be permitted access to Sunday’s special Louis Armstrong night session:
– Tuesday, August 29 – Day Session (Session #3)
– Tuesday, August 29 – Night Session (Session #4)
– Friday, September 1 – Night Session (Session #10)
– Saturday, September 2 – Day Session (Session #11)
– Saturday, September 2 – Night Session (Session #12)
Louis Armstrong Stadium seats 10,073 fans. Below is the complete schedule for Sunday’s special night session in Louis Armstrong, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

Roger Federer SUI (1) vs. Vincent Spadea USA
Bob Bryan USA/Mike Bryan USA (1) vs. Thomas Johansson SWE/Robert Lindstedt SWE
In addition to this added option, the usual US Open Ticket Exchange Policy remains in place for fans affected by Saturday’s cancelled day and night sessions.
