Do you think Wimbledon should rename Center and #1 courts in following of the other Grand Slams, who have two greats on both their big arenas.

IF so, who should they name them after? (Anyone who mensions Henman or Murray will be :armed: )

Or, do you think this prestige shit should be kept and their boring names still apply

I say Sue's Sexy Stadium #1!

They shouldn't change the name, Centre Court is great, it illustrates the prestiege of playing there. Just like our Planet is just called the Earth and our moon is called The Moon.

No, they should leave it as it is. They've got a statue of Fred Perry which should be enough! In any case, I don't think there's much of a tradition in the UK of naming stadiums after people who played the sport.

And only a few weeks ago Pluto was a planet, imagine how insecure Neptune must be feeling now. But seriously why do they wait until a player is over 50 before they name a place after them. Margaret Court won 24 slams, a court should have been named after her soon after she retired from tennis. It is the same with the Hall of Fame, is Steffi in it already or are they waiting for some grey hairs to appear before she is let in, what is the deal?

That's what I was thinking for Court 1. I agree w/ the POV about Centre Court keeping it's name.

Maybe in 30 years Court 15 at the Oz will be called the Alicia Molik arena?

It should stay. There's only one "Centre Court", it has the prestige of being possibly the most famous court in the world.
