They just announced on CBS that Andy Roddick has been sent home, as well as Andre Agassi. They will play tomorrow. I believe Maria Sharapova has been sent home too, but the didn't say that. The could be tennis tonight, but I don't think there will be.

I have not heard any news yet and I'm on Arthur Ashe court. Well not on the court, but I'm sitting in the stand.

Ummm they just announced Roddick had been sent home, which would lead be to believe Maria has not since she is set to play before him. Not that she'll actually play but the day session hasn't been cancelled yet

She has about as much chance of playing as the Boston Red Sox winning their game today; slim to none. It is raining pretty heavily and it is very windy. There will be no tennis this afternoon and possibly tonight either.

I would doubt that we will see this match today. Even if the night session happens, Marat would have to play his second round first.

Yes, but I think they will put a man's match on Ashe because it is easier to make up the women's matches.

stop being so negative, of course it can stop to rain and serena and ana will play.. and they will not cancel the match because of wind.. the wind will probably blow those rainy clouds away and we will see at least some tennis

If there is tennis tonight, they should change the Nadal match to the Safin match. That is not fair, this reminds me of 2003 when they made sure they got Andy's match in and everybody else was behind.:(

Look, I live in the NYC area and they said that it is supposed to rain all day. There is a chance that it might stop for tonight's session, but the Weather Channel just said that chance of rain tonight 60%.
