It's kinda been sad not being able to see her at the Slams at all this year since she decided to make a comback.

Is she done for the year or will she play any tournaments in the Fall?

Thanks for the info.

She wants to play at Wimby again and say "goodbye" to tennis on her own terms (e not coz of injury as before).

As for Brenda playing - not sure, but I doubt anywhere in Europe - probably just some challengers in the US if there are any $50ks or higher...

Hmm... she's not down for $75k Albuqurque. But there are 2x$50k's the 2 weeks after that - so maybe... or she may surprise and pop up in Europe, only I thinkshe must be close to having used up all her WCs this year already. ;)

35ish isn't she? (Maybe 36). She's 35, turning 36 in December (I just checked). ;)

Brenda always loved Quebec so I think she´s about to play that one and something before that. I support those saying she´s not going to Europe as she centered in the USA right now. I think she adds 2-3 challengers within the next 2-3 months then.

Wow didn't realize she was a citizen now. But she still plays under the Dutch flag right?

I dunno if she's a US citizen, but she lives there (not sure if you have to be a citizen to live there or not). Yes, she still plays for NL. But why else would Brenda have been playing so many tourneys in the US this year?

Well the fact that she's based in the US, AND her ranking's not exactly that high to get into the European tourneys. ;) She's only around 300 at the moment.

Yes she will surely play :yeah:

She has to be Top 200 by Wimbledon.

Yeah but I think people wanna know where she'll play too. ;)

Wonder if she'll make AO quallies? Would be interesting! ;)

I doubt she'll even make Top 200. But AO Qualies are always quite poor, she might have a shot :tape:

Don't know where she will play, but she should be getting her ass out there now. It's not like she has any points to defend. And she doesn't have to worry about defending points next year either.

:haha: Yeah, cutoff for AO is usually like 260 or so. ;) So I think she has a shot if she wins some matches in $50k's or whatever..there are quite a few $50k's coming up in the US< and then some $25k's too...hope she will play them!

The question is:

Does she want to travel to Australia for potentially just one match which earns her like one point for the rankings?

I figured she would be playing more doubles though and I am surprised no highly-ranked doubles player has at least her if she wants to play.
