Williams Sisters Make Manhattan Appearances On Friday

The Williams sisters will hit Manhattan tomorrow. Two-time U.S. Open champion Serena Williams will conduct a tennis clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Fred Johnson Tennis Courts on 150th St. at Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd in Harlem in conjunction with the Harlem Junior Tennis & Education Program and the USTA.

Serena is scheduled to meet and hit with local children.

Venus Williams is scheduled to appear on New York's NBC morning newscast sometime between 6 and 7 a.m.

I never get to see any of these. I'll try and drag my lazy butt out of bed though, it's always nice to see the girls off court.

Well they promote the USopen by going on morning shows every year, so it's really nothing new. Not to mention their charity tour(which others are biting) where they visit schools, the tennis clinics they do, and donating tennis equipment to kids.

This is where I play tennis. Unfortunately I'm going to miss it because of work :sad: Serena, of all the days to come to Harlem, you pick a day when I can't be there :sad:
