Ever notice something that may be obvious to you, but not necessarily to others? And you don't want to post it as a topic...but rather as an observation?

Well, post it here suckas...   :wavey:

The more RANDOM the better...

Ever notice how American football commentator always hold MASSIVE microphones? I mean, we are in the 2nd millennium where microminiaturization can hide a microphone within width of a 10 mm cord, yet these guys are holding baseball bat sized clubs to talk into.

why is a near miss not called a near hit?

why is there a light in the fridge but not the freezer?

It would be sweet if pirates existed in real life. Like with peg legs and eye patches and stuff.

The word 'OXYMORON' is itself, an oxymoron.

Who thinks these words up anyway?

omg yes!!!see?

im full of random observations - here's some more

You know when people say "throw ya hands in the air like ya don't care"? why bother doing that if you dont care?

Why do they put holes in crackers?

Why do we have to pay at toll booths "freeways"? (where i am, theyre called motorways so it aint so bad)

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons? (ok so i heard that one on tv but it still counts)

Why do people say "The alarm just went off" when really it just came on?

If you were really wrinkly, how would you know if you had been in the bath too long...?

arent you a "hypocrite" when you call someone else a "hypocrite" because we've all been hypocritical in our lives at some point so should the word "hypocrite" even exist?

i find it a little weird that sweets are always fruit flavoured when fruit is supposed to be healthy. kids hate fruit so how did they get on the fruity sweets?

Because it's a "miss" that was "near" the ball.

Most freezers have lights these days. At least, the side-by-side ones usually do.

see?

Most of these are Gallaherisms, I believe.

As for the crackers, they probably put the holes in them so that they don't just rise up into a spherical shape when they bake.

how about these wonderings...

In France do people just ask for toast and get French toast? or do they have to ask for non-french toast?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why are they called stairs inside but steps outside?

Do stuttering people stutter when they're thinking to themselves?

Why do people say PIN number when that truly means Personal Identification Number Number?

Which way does a compass point in space?

Why is the 0 on a phone after 1 and not before 1?

Kids hate fruit? I thought they usually hated vegetables.:lol: yeah, kids usually hate vegetables.

They love fruit due to the high sugar and citric acid [weet & sour] combination. In fact, I'd say that fruit can be down-right addicting because of the high sugar content. :)

Ever wonder whether God is both male AND female?

If God is so perfect, omnipotent, and knows what will happen before it happens...why did he create man?

ill be honest, after i started running out of ideas, i started searching for some more of them on google, but a lot of them are my own i swear - like this one...

why do americans, when they arent bothered, say i COULD care less. in britain, we say i COULDNT care less which is much more logical :p

i hope no one thought i was clever enough to get all of them myself!

So now you clown'n me.

Actually, I'm seriously considering doing voice-overs.
People I meet say that I have a voce that resonates through them.
When I was younger, I was approached on the street about a job in radio several times. ;)
I may just do it now.
