Well, the man has done it again with back-to-back MAJORS on the same course!
He did it for the first time in 2000, and now repeated the feat 6 years later.

INCREDIBLE...is the word that best describes him.

He succeeded in making the field look like a bunch of floundering school children. I mean, he obliterated the field shooting -18 under par. And held onto -19 under up until the 17th!!

He now stands alone in second place on the all-time major wins in history, and more than that, stands 3 years ahead of the great Golden gear, Jack Nicholas.

I may not like the man, but I do recognize and :worship: the course master. :)

3 straight tourneys for Tiger now. Blah, it'd be nice if someone at least challenged him @ this tournament. But he shot the second best round of the day and he's pretty much unbeatable when he's leading, so props to him :yeah:.

On a side note, many of my friends up in Itasca & other cities around Medinah will be VERY happy that the PGA is leaving. Policemen w/ the tournament were asking my friends if they planned on parking in their own driveways .

aww, poor English guy

(I have no idea who he is, I only heard during athletics that he was tied with Tiger going into the final day. I knew he wouldn't win it though.)

Tiger Woods produced yet another superb last round surge to win the PGA Championship for the third time on Sunday.

The American world number one started the day level with Briton Luke Donald on 14-under but moved comfortably clear of the field with a clinical display as he extended his record of always winning when leading going into the last day of a major.

Woods finished with a four under par 68, five shots clear of 2003 winner Shaun Micheel, who shot three-under par 69.C

Sunday's success was Woods's 12th major title, taking him ahead of American Walter Hagen. Only Jack Nicklaus, on 18, has won more of the sport's big four events.

I was watching and heard that Tiger had a gallery of 15,000 basically following him! Now, that can't be correct, because 15,000 people certainly can't move that fast without disrupting play.

One funny moment during the broadcast occurred when one of the commentators called Tiger a FREAK! He just couldn’t find the right word to describe Tiger after the 5th Birdie on the front 9.

If you think Sir Eldrick is good now, just wait until he hits his peak in five or six years.....

In fact, they threw out the possibility of another retooling of Tiger's swing. At this point though, he's so far ahead of everyone in the game that I can't see a reason for messing with something that so obviously works so well.

He's retooled his swing TWICE already in his career, and that's what makes him so great. Unlike a couple of tennis players you and I both like, Tiger's always looking at ways to get better even though he's #1 by two miles.

If Tiger does decide to retool, it will hopefully be his putting game.
Though he was a surgeon out there today, his putter has a tendency to go on vacation at the oddest times.

Hey, that Tiger guy, he's pretty good.

Nice of the other guys in the field to shrink
whenever he's around.
Phil.
Duval.
Sergio.
Ernie.
Who?
What?
Where did they go?

Some competition would be nice to see.

He's still just light years ahead of them all,
it's almost silly.
