Dec 10th, 2001, 03:44 AM
The majority of my friends at school are girls. I get a lot of crap from everyone for this but oh well.Being a boy people just find it strange . But some people thin Girls like me for other reasons. I also have guy friends but that's outside of school and we get together and talk about girls mostly and church and other things.
I also have another set of friend which are like the people I have known for a long time and some of them are included in the previous group. Just wondering about you all.

Mine are mostly female or gay men.

Dec 10th, 2001, 02:27 PM
Most of my friends are female, but I have some male friends too. We are just a mixed group Like most groups at our school...

Dec 10th, 2001, 02:42 PM
I have a mixed group of friends. I have one really good female str8 friend, 2 lesbian friends, couple male str8 friends

Mostly everyone else I would consider friends but these 5 people I consider my best friends

Dec 10th, 2001, 03:09 PM
Other than people on this message board, I don't even talk to any straight men. So all of my friends are gay men or females. I actually don't think I have any lesbian friends either, but I wouldn't be sure about that.

I'm a sporty guy, but I just can't handle straight men IRL, they annoy me. hehe

Well I went to a girls' school, so my schoolfriends, whom I'm very close to, are all girls.

My university friends are a mixture. Some of my closest friends are male. I get on very well with men - they're more given to abstract/logical conversations. But I still have quite a few female friends. Quite a lot of lesbian/bisexual female friends too.

Dec 10th, 2001, 03:43 PM
I did have lots more male str8 friends, but they stopped talking to me after I came out. The two that still talk to me, im really close to them. We played sports together and we have a very strong bond, they are like my brothers. I think that when people have an open mind to anyone; gay, str8 or bi, then it makes us a better person. It interest me to gain perspective from different points of view and not just one way of thinking.

In school my main group of friends is 6 girls and 1 boy but i'm friends with mainly girls but i have a lot of male friends!Because of this people assume i am gay but i am not i just don't have the typical sense of ladness(new word?)

for instance i am called gayboy or poof everyday but i am not gay so i have no idea why they call me this!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, yes, in real life I'd like to have more female friends, almost all of my friends are males, or, well, females who are wives of formers.

Interestingly, most of my internet friends are females. And I am quite proud of having them my friends.

Monica_Rules... unfortunately many people are ignorant. Just ignore them, and be friends with whoever you want to be friends with

Hm... you're a curious guy aren't you, selesfan1??

Well, my best-best friends are girls, and I love them dearly! And I've a couple of buddies who I love too! All my friends are great... I'm truely blessed with my friends. It's true.
And on the board it seems like almost all my friends are male... That's no problem!

im a male, and i have hardly any male friends. i have 1 male friend that im very close to, other than that im always with girls. im one of those cooking freaks too hahaha but really, guys annoy the hell out of me most of hte time, and girls are nice to be with because you can hug your female friends and be very close to them in ways you cant be with males. i like how homophobic males in highschool are, but how if you have female friends they automatically wonder. if it wasnt for alice, id probably be a prime suspect....

Most of my friends are females. I used to have more male friends a few years ago, because I do like sports etc. but we sort of drifted apart mainly because they started getting into punk, and being skaters...which I didn't have a problem with, but it's just not what i'm interested in so it was pointless for me to tag along when i'm not interested in their interests. i still have some male friends, but the majority are female.

Yes, most of my friends are girls... I really miss having good male friends, my last years at school I went to a boys school that had recently started to accept girls, so it was only 4 or 5 girls for class.. bliss hehe, no, really, I think it's good to have both male and female friends, it's easier to talk to men, whilst women tend to understand better where you are coming from... I guess it can be more difficult to be friends with whatever sex you are attracted to... has anyone seen when Harry met Sally? lol

well my frienda are mixed really. my best mate is a boy, but i have 'my girls'.
Also there are people on this board who are lovely and i really like and respect.
Also, my brothers girlfriend is kinda like one of my closet mates as well.

Dec 11th, 2001, 11:50 PM
I have a pretty even mix of friends, I have three best friends, 2 guys and a gal. Real close. I'm pretty much friends with everyone and i get the entire deal, cause unfortunately , sometimes girls especially tend to tell me all their problems and secret crushes and ask me what they should do and guys do the same so I end up being the middle person and I don't like it. When it gets nasty I end up being the hated one!
I never ask to know this stuff! They just approach me one day and start telling me stuff...
I feel like running off... the things I know, I'd be eventually killed for...lol

lol@ Oasiatic
I know exaclty what you mean. But I never ended up hated, so I like it :p All my friends confide in me. The problem is when eg, person a says something about person b confidentaly, then person b asks me what person a thinks about him/her. I hate lieing, so I try to sidestep the question. I got very good at it during the years!!

But back to the post topic, I have about the same portion of guy and gall friends. I tend to trust girls more, though, because I got backstabbed a couple of times by guys, which never happened with girls.
