My comments:

Romina OPRANDI: One of the revelation of the year, Romina keeps rising in the woid ranking, now breaking the Top 70 after reaching the QF at Budapest $145K ousting 4th seed/n44 Benesova before falling to 5th seed/n45 Dominguez Lino

Vasilisa BARDINA: this week once again, Vasilisa reached the MD 2nd rd at Stanford $600K upsetting 4th seed/n61 Laine in the final rd of the qualies, and n42 Mirza in the MD before losing to 4th seed/n16 Groenefeld

Yulia BEYGELZIMER: Her last ever best ranking was n104 in april 2004!! After a very desapointing 2005 season, Yulia found her confidence back and she's breaking the Top 100 this week. Last week, she won Petange $50K challenger defeating 2nd seed/n99 Ondraskova en route and talentuous belgian 7th seed/n124 Flipkens in a thrilling 3 sets match.

Kirsten FLIPKENS: Kirsten is getting closer from the Top 100 week after week. As runner up at Petange challenger $50K, she ousted Top seed/n54 before falling to 6th seed/n113 Beygelzimer in 3 sets.

Yung Chan CHAN: One of the teen to follow...who's coming from Taipei...Yung chan won her 3rd ITF Title at Kurume $25K. As top seed, she took the best over 4th seed/n265 Chuang in final.

Sara ERRANI: That young italian talent reached her ever 1rst QF WTA event as qualifer! In the qualies she upsetted promising 2nd seed/n128 Agniska Radwanska. In the main draw she defeated n77 Fedak before losing to 2nd seed/n36 Krajicek.

Margit RUUTEL: The 3rd best estonian player reached the SF at Roma $25K falling to top seed/n137 and eventual champion Nagy.

Alize CORNET: The best ranked girl born in 1990 is up 8 spots after reaching the final at Roma challenger 25K. As runner up, she ousted 2nd seed/n146 Gallovits before falling to Top seed/n137 Nagy in a very close 3 sets match.

Jill CRAYBAS n49 (+19): American veteran born in 1974, Jill is back in the Top 50 this week after reaching the QF at Stanford $600K upsetting n49 Perry before falling to 2nd seed/n8 and eventual runner up schnyder.

Martina MULLER n60 (+14): Martina reached her ever 1rst WTA SF at Budapest $145 K last week. She ousted 7th seed/n62 Sucha en route before losing to eventual champion 8th seed/n63 Smashnova. Highest ranking in 4 years!

not having much like with the draws is our sammy, hopefully with the right draw soon she should rise higher,breaking top 30 this year.
