ok here is my question:

the people who are on these shows, know that the cameras are following them around and they know the shit is on tape and they LIE!! they LIE about what happened, what was said anything!!! they will just sit there and lie!!!

what the fuck???

whats wrong with these people? why do they lie like this? its like on all the reality tv shows. but why?

i have liars in my family, but i wonder if its that some people just lie so much they dont care? or that most people are lying liars and the tv just reveals it?

I think they love attention and lying and being like that gets attention. You have to be half-baked in the head to agree to do a reality show in the first place, so most of these people aren't playing with a full deck to begin with.

thats true for some shows. but for other shows like supernanny, i think some of those people really want help, but others not so much. plus i dont like the idea that just because they are on tv they are crazy so whatever? i mean what about the kids in some of these shows that be lying?

What I don't like is how all American reality/documentary shows are so scripted these days. I don't mean BB but anything else from a news report to a game show to a light documentary. You never see more than five seconds of footage without a cut, and it's not cutting to give a particular effect, it's cutting because the director has to stop every 5 seconds and explain to the hapless interviewee or passer-by or extra exactly what reaction they want and how it should be delivered. The result is that you rarely see any genuine moments - it's like some producer has decided that anyone appearing on camera must 'do acting', no matter how bad they are at it. And you end up with a 2-minute scene that looks like it took 3 days and 3 completely different crews to shoot. In other countries they go and shoot and then try to build a story from the footage they got. In America it's like the whole show begins on paper and the words and actions are put into the mouths of the so-called "real" people. America sucks at reality TV.

well of course they lie on the show. the others contestants aren't watching and don't know what the people at home do.
