I need some advice. I want to lose twenty pounds in three weeks. im 5'9 and weigh 165 and want to get to 145 which is much more healthy. is this possible? someone said eat only grapes and water for a few days. i also heard only eat ice cream. only eat white food. any suggestions?

No, in all seriousness, if you need to lose fat fast, the best thing to do is eat NO CARBS at all. That means eat meat, cocktail shrimp, chicken, fish, steamed veggies, etc. No breads, pastas, potatoes, corn, beans, rice, etc.

But 20 lbs in three weeks is not healthy at all. You'll get sick and your skin will get saggy cuz you lost weight too fast.

It's not healthy to lose 20 pounds in three weeks, so if health is your goal you may want to rethink your timeline.

Yes, the grape and water diet does work. Do it for a few days, your hunger will be supressed. You can lose 20 punds easily in 3 weeks. Do the grape and water diet for 2 days, then in another 7 days do it again for 2 days. It will work.

Eating no carbs, starves your muscles, and your muscle mass evaporates. That's what gives the illusion that you're losing weight, but in reality, all you're doing is getting rid of muscle.

Eat a balanced diet, I recommend eating LESS carbs if you're not active but don't get rid of them completely. Water or flavoured water drinks over anything carbonated. 1-2 glasses of juice a day, to give you some valuable vitamins. Watch your red meat intake, because at the end of the day it's one of the worst things for you. Eat SMALL and FREQUENT meals, and keep it ina timely manner. That'll speed up your metabolism.

what liquids does atkins allow? what type of sodas or juices can you drink? what about artifically flavored water?

i dont know if you are getting what we are trying to say. .... there is no healthy way of doing that, you should only loose 1 pound per week in a healthy diet. if you want to loose 20 you can do anything you like, it will be unhealthy and unpleasant.

if you want to maintain a that weight that you like you need to eat less, exercise and plan better.

if you're muscular, 5'9 and 165 isn't fat at all. well, unless you're a girl. then i guess i could see the logic.

yay. you're smart. i hate it when retards are like don't eat carbs. there's a reason why it's at the bottom of the food pyramid. plus, i'm partial to carbs.

That might be a bad idea...I know that if I was starving for months on end the first thing that would come to mind would be making little white girl sandwiches.

i did the bmi for this height/weight its 24.4 i.e. NORMAL AND HEALTHY

Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

no need to lose 20 in 3 weeks. but hey, my suggestion is the only that will guarantee results. eat NOTHING for 3 weeks.

I lost 13 pounds in two weeks last summer. I still ate, but I kept it to brunch and dinner, and didn't like try to stuff myself. But what I did the most was exercise exercise exercise :) Instead of elevator, take the stairs. Instead of car, walk (unless it's an insane distance).

well get crazy and start playing tennis a lotttt..Dont starve urself too much but soon tho..Eat if you feel hungry!!! will discover you are gettign in shape!!!

plus it depends on your body type!! IF you have a bigger frame,you needent lose 20 pounds!!!But I am 5 10 and am 71 kgs!! And I think i am really fine..none can call me fat or anything :confused:

I should sign up for Survivor.

Survivor will starve you to death... futhermore, there's less food around, so less energy to go with, and you move less... making you "useless".

I rather sign up for the Amazing Race... there's much more activities to do, and while the food might be guilty, you will wash it all away with the running, swimmig, diving, cycling... all those stuff.

I suggest that you go organic for 30 days... besides keeping you slim, it also helps to improve your skin texture.

However, I must warn you NEVER to overdo it. My friend went on this organic diet, and when I saw her again, she was bordering on the aneroxic side... luckily she heed my advice and started eating normally again (albeit lesser) and she did exercise regularly to maintain her body.
