I didn't find a thread about this show, but I have watched a few episodes and seriously the "talent" they have on that show is pretty average. It's good for entertainment, but actually giving the winner a million dollars?!?! Most of the performers aren't as original as the show proclaims, and i've seen twice as good of talent.

At least people are actually allowed to play instruments, if they're musicians...unlike American Idol.

That is true, but those I've seen playing instruments aren't that great. The lady with the harp was good. I liked her. The two brothers were ok...the young brother is awesome with the harmonica...but as far as being the next big talent and earning a million for it? I don't know. Maybe there have been some good acts I haven't seen i don't know, but they were showing on Bravo the most recent one where the judges chose the finalist and I just wasn't really impressed.

I actually like the show because it does showcase talents that are not as routine as singing or dancing. I love the brothers, the yodeler, the harpist. The fact that its different is what makes it appealing. I don't know about the million dollar prize. That's a bit stupid, but the concept alone is great.
