Hello all, I went to Los Angeles for the NCLR conference and it just so happened the 2007 Miss Universe contestants were at the same hotel I was ( Wilshire Grand) on Figueroa Boulevard. It was quite intersting to see them just feet away from you and even ride elevators with them etc. Some of them were very kind, some were out right b**ches.

Let me start by the ones I had encounters with.

After I realized what was happening. I had read the contest was going to be in LA and it all came back to me. Miss Czech Republic walks by with her chaperone and goes to the counter for something. After seeing some take pics of her I went and asked her for one.She has the best pose I just love it, I don't know why, it's sexy. So she was nice I said thanks and she said sure( I was actually shaking after this)

Miss Brazil was a different story. I was so elated that I had gotten one of thier pics, I missed Miss Brazil. The first time she said no, she said no, this is a business trip. but after she did her photos she took pictures. Although her chaperone was not too happy about it. A lot of these chaperones are old short women who I imagine are bitter that no one pays any attention to them. I said please very quickly and she stopped and posed.

The easiest to get access to were Miss Turks& Caicos and Miss Aruba. Their chaperone was actually nice and let them take all the pictures the fans wanted. Neither of them are necessarily stunning but both beautiful compared to the rest of the world.Thier chaperone actually chatted with me.

Lebanon and Egypt came around and were taking pics but thei chaperone was about to have a heart attack she was saying stuff in what I assume was Arabic and they left promptly after that. neither of them are really stunning either.

Miss. St. Martin was chekcing in and she took a few pictures with some fans. She is pretty nice and a nice looking girl.

Bolivia is stunning. very nice, beautiful. Throughout the whole week she would greet and hug everyone. You could say good morning and she would answer back and ask how things were going. very beautiful girl

Last for the evening was Poland who is very beautiful. She speask great Spanish becsue her father I believe is venezuelan and she has actually represented Venezuela in a few pageants.Very nice girl, I was ahving some camera problemas and stuck around until I was able to fix them.

Australia was nice she was walking towards the elevator with New Zealand and I asked for a picture and her chaperone and new zealand said not tonight becasue we have to get to bed. Australia said "yeah but if you want you can take a picture while we walk, I'll even walk backwards" I thought that was just cool.

Germany was a nice girl, I actually asked her for a picture and she posed but her chaperon came and literally snatched her away.

Singapore is a B*tch she never posed with anyone or for anyone.

USA won't even acknowledge people and never took a picture.

France was nice. As all the contestants walked out o f the hotel restaurant I spoke to her in french and she spoke back . She stopped for a photo but once again her chaperone snatched her away.

There are a few more anecdotes if anyone has specific questions on the candidates. I am including some pictures here.
