I think there is a little probability

Yep I think there is a chance that she might enter, cause if she withdraws from Montreal, which is surely going to happen I think, and then she feels better and she wants some matchplay, than I think she could enter this tournament.

Very little.

Venus doesn't usually like playing
the week before a Slam.

She's only done it once in the
past four years.

Yet, if she wanted to they'd welcome her
with open arms. She is a 4-time Champion
there. 99'-02'. Perfect 16-0 record at this event.

I can't even recall the last time Venus took a last minute wildcard  I'd be happy if she played though!

Looking at those stats :worship:

Flawless 16 wins and only one lost set :speakles:

She should. In all the years she played New Haven ('99-'02) she has gotten to the SF or better at the USO. A good sign indeed.

I hope she plays. I mean really hope. But only if she is healthy enough. I don't want an injured Venus to play the Open. I love the U.S. Open and have had great memories watching the Williams Sisters matches (esp. at night). :)

Venus, rest and get healthy!

Good.

She knows what is best
for her and her body.
