She has great touch at the net and great statistics when she comes forward. But I think it's a case of "out of sight, out of mind". No one's seen Lindsay play for awhile, so she's been forgotten. :cool: But she's got the best volley, forgotten or not. :yeah: Andrew.. It's only her footwork that makes her a less effective volleyer than someone like Amelie. Imo, Lindsay has great technique on the volley, but she tries to be TOO good with the volley when all that is need is a simple punch volley instead of a drop volley on the sideline. She has a lot of problems with low volleys and I've seen her missing some very easy volleys everyone struggles with low volleys, but neither Kuzy, JHH, Momo etc. won as many doubles events YEC, Wimbledon, USO, RG...and noone from the top10 has as good volley technique as Lindsay has.
