I have queued for the past three years for the whole tennis fortnight and I can tell you that you will be very lucky to get in if you start at 830am...The middle Saturday is the bussiest queue, so I would suggest you start at 7am latest if you want to be ensured admission!

I only queued once on middle Saturday about 4/5 years ago and joined the queue around 7.30am. It was really unsure whether I would get in, but luckily I did, just, (at around 12.30pm). I was told they increased the 'ground capacity' (number of people they'll admit) that day, otherwise I don't think I would have got in. Sorry to say it but most people queue overnight for middle Saturday, in fact if you go on Friday morning, you already see people in the queue for Saturday. Sorry to be the bearer of not particularly good news. I hope you somehow manage to get it.....

(It's definitely possible that the football will mean it's less busy though! :D)
