Has anyone seen this movie? It was on Lifetime last Monday. For those of you who missed it, it will re-air on June 25th I believe.

Basis of the movie: It chronicles the life of a transgendered woman whose life was tragically cut short at a party after a group of boys found out he was in fact a male. He was choked and beaten to death. They tied him up with a rope by the neck, hung him and "beat him like a pinata."

Gwen Araujo (The transgendered female)

Here is some extra informationa about her (him).

Question for straight males I guess: If you had sex with a transgendered female, and later found out biologically it was a male, what do you think you would do?

I thought it was very sad :sobbing:

I saw the commericals for it...the acting seemed corny and lifetime-ish.

I recorded it and just finished watching it this morning. It was definitely a sad movie, especially considering that it was based on true events. I can understand someone being angry finding out that the person that he'd made out it was actually a biological male - but what they did to her was disturbing. I'm surprised that it was only murder 2 and manslaughter. She was lured over there with the intent of finding out if she was really a biological male. After that, they killed her. So sad.

My friends and I watched it. It was so sad. It just scares me that it was based on a true story. I couldnt even imagine.
