bow out first at Wimbledon. I am not including Mary and Linds. say why? I voted for Nadia, as she really needs a lot of matchplay to get into form and she will enter the tournament without any grass court preparation.

Flips a coin with Patty's face on one side, Elena D.'s on the other.

Dementieva, I'm afraid.

I think I am going to have to agree. She did well to start the clay court season off and then, well... I can see her taking an early exit. Tough call though.

Patty has trouble on grass. I guess her loopy strokes make things difficult.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Elena or Kim go out early either though..

Unfortunately, I have to say Patty because she hates grass and does not even play a warm-up tournament before Wimbledon. I hope that she wins one match at least.

I voted for Patty, but Elena is a close second. They'll probably go out the same round.

I'd say it's close:

Elena

then

Patty

then

Nadia

The remaining players are pretty solid on grass.

Both Patty and Elena could possibly go out in the first round. Nadia pulling out of Eastbourne was just precautionary, she does it all the time.

Would like to see draw. Obvious choices are Patty and Lena. I think Petrova will live up to her seeding. She's pretty consistent in slams. She bores me to death, but I think she's got a chance to go far.

The other 5 are all serious contenders, but if there was a shocking upset and let's face it, Patty, Lena, and Petrova going out wouldn't be a shock or in some cases even an upset, I am thinking Kim or Henin just cause Kim seems disinterested and Henin may be tired from the French

I think a better poll would be which of the top 8 seeds will have a shocking exit. After all, Hingis, Vaidisova, and Venus could beat Petrova, Patty or Lena and it wouldn't even be an upset. Hell Venus could beat anyone in the tourney and it would probably not be regarded as an upset.

All of the votes should've been for Patty. :tape:

Dementieva made the third round last year, right?

Anyway, Patty will be out to a qualifier on Day One.

Lena lost in 4th round last year (7-5 in 3rd to Myskina). She has lost in 4th round in 3 of the last 4 years at Wimbledon. The lone exception being the year she made the French Open final when she lost in 1st round.

I can't believe the meltdown that Elena had against Myskina last year. She could have had a really good chance against Mauresmo in the quarterfinals.

Patty as I think she loses first round. She lost to Serra Zanetti first round last year so that doesn't bode well.

Plus Lena made 4th round a year ago.
