Top Players playing down their chances as a tactic at Grand Slams

After being fooled by Kim's letter before the French open, I was wondering which players try to keep the pressure off them by making comments to the media and which one's have personally fooled you?

I'm thinking Kim saying she was happy to get afew rounds at this years French open and then go watch the basketball was a TACTIC to take the pressure off her from the media and for the top players not to be thinking of her as the big threat.

I say the first round loss by Petrova at the French was a big ploy. She wants to do the damage at Wimbledon, where she wont be considered a big threat. :o

Clijsters is the worst at it. At the 04 and 06 aussie open she said she was extremely injured and only about 50-50 about playing and both times made it deep into the event
