So tomorrow starts her Wimbledon campaign :D
Target ==> to reach the MD! :bounce:

actually Asia got into quite good part of the draw
1R vs Tatiana Panowa - let's face it, her lately results aren't that promising
2R vs Aravane Rezai/Tamarine Tanasugarn - first big talent but sucks on grass, second big talent on grass, but sucks lately :p
Final R: probably Beygelzimer

Good luck Aśka - dajesz je wszystkie :rocker:

Hi,

I've seen this game. Asia was very relaxed before this match, but when play starts, she made a lot of double faults, lose nerves... Her forehand was awful today, she lost so many easy balls that fans couldn't believe it's possible.

She shouted 'to niewiarygodneeeee' several times and it was really like that. A lot of luck on Klepac's side... But Sakowicz wasn't in form today.

Asia get really nice suntan, she was looking awesome :hearts: , even better than last year :) And that smile... Ahhh :> I'm lovin' her, really :P

She've said that Bella Cup in Torun is the best tournament she has every played and ensured that she isn't lying :) She wants to come back here again... I'm waiting Asiu :bounce: :wavey:  :hearts: ;)

Łzy, złość i ból - tyle pozostało po występie Joanny Sakowicz w kwalifikacjach do US Open.

So Injury once again :bigcry: And at this time of the season :(

:wavey:

So I watched the match today. :p Olga started the match but she got broken immediately. Asia was in control of the match right from the start. Olga had nothing to say at the beggining. Asia had no problems with her own service games and very little with breaking Olga's serve... I think there were only 2 GPs for Olga in the 1st set. Asia scored a bagel after an ace. 2nd set started very similar with Asia breaking for *1-0. Then she had a GP for 2-0* (40-30) but missed sthg easy and said 'do jasnej cholery' and lost next 3 pts... :o She was very very lazy for a couple of next minutes and allowed Olga into the match... Olga held comfortably for 2-1* and broke Asia at love (on DF :smash:) for *3-1. But then Asia woke up and started to play properly again - needless to say she won 5 games in a row :p. She made a couple of okayish dropshots that Olga didn't even try to reach (me thinks she's just lazy on the court and very negative, complaining at herself and blah all  :o ) Actually Olga had a couple of BPs to break back for *4-4 but wasted all of them and got broken very easily (there were 2 DFs I believe :o ) for the match. Asia looks very fit. She's not skinny nor too chubby :p IMHO she should beat Tadde - maybe 3 sets... but I just hope she doesn't have those lapses of concentration anymore b/c she really looks pathetic when she's off and her body language is a la Koukalova  :o. If she's focused in the next 2 matches she should have little problems with winning this challenger. :)

Go Asia - good luck vs Tadde :yeah:

Btw. I tried to spoke to Asia but directly after the match she was busy talking with somebody so I only said 'GL tomorrow' and she replied 'No thx ;)' I got back a little later after I realized there's no pt in getting already to the station as I missed my train, but I haven't met Asia then  But some VIP event was about to begin and guess who was participating? :bounce:  :o.... MR RYSIU from Klan :haha: :spit: :rolls: It was pretty entertaining to see him in the tennis clothes instead of being told to do this or that by Grażynka on the TV screen :rolls: :haha: :p

Oh and I said I'll post some pics but I saw vma has uploaded few already and the quality of my pics is way lower so I better not ;)

Asia
I was expecting her to win this semifinal. She seemed very nervous for me. In her previous matches the 1st sets were fantastic. A lot of winners, virtually no mistakes and good serve. Today, nothing was there. No serve, countless mistakes from the beginning of the match. And from the very first game, she was moaning and making countless comments after her mistakes. She held for 1:1 and broke easily in the 3rd game. But she lost her serve in the next game. In the 5th one, she had 3 BPs but waisted (meaning waisted) all of them. She managed to win the 6th game, this was the only moment when she screamed "trzymaj!" (something like Come On! or rather Keep it Going!) The 2nd part of the set was terrible with Sakowicz getting more and more nervous and making a lot of errors. Malek was playing loads of moonballs, it seems this was her strategy for this match. And Sakowicz had problems with those shots. She lost the next 2 games and the set. This was when she took an injury time-out. She was pointing to her back or shoulder. People watching the match were surprised because during the 1st set there was nothing to suggest that she was injured.
The 2nd set was a short story, she lost her serve quite easily. She was fighting in the next one, but lost it as well. At 0:2 00:30 she started crying. No wonder, she did not win a point from this moment. At 0:3 she gave up.. Still, people at the crowd believed she "used" this injury only as an excuse in a match she felt she could not win anyway.

Agnes Szavay def Joanna Sakowicz 6-4 4-6 8-6

Wow! This was another one of the best matches of the day. Great hitting from both girls, as they both hit hard and deep. Joanna certainly looked like she was the more comfortable in this match as it progressed, that is until she choked on a bag full of match points in the final set. Up 5-2, she wasted about 3 of them I think, and then lost a couple more as the match progressed. In her defence, Agnes won a lot of those MP’s with gutsy play, but Joanna was getting quite distressed and down on herself as play continued. Agnes is a little cutie and I think will easily reach top 100, but will struggle to break top 50, imo. The Radwanska sisters were courtside in the final set, as was Marta Domachowska (well I think it was her).
