For Roger it could be easier, for Venus it will depends of her draw in the first rounds, after she could get better and better

I think they'll both repeat

For sure, Venus can, so can Roger!

Federer will defend his title again although he did greatly struggle in Halle this week. I don't think Venus will win though.

Well, I sure hope they do! Those are my two faves you'r talking about.
I've been thinking about this since the FO winers were decided. Serena and Marat didn't defended but Justine and Rafa did, so will the Wimby and USO champions defend as well? Tougher for Roger cause he has two to defend, tough for Vee, too, and Kim's looked shaky so far. You just never know.
Anyway, Go, Rogi, Go Vee! 4 Wimby titles would be excellent!
I want to know when she's getting to England, tho. Roger'll be there tomorrow. I'm anxious to see Vee there, too.

New champions for both sides.

I think Roger will defend, but I don't think Venus will.

I Think Roger A Given Venus Depends On Her Seed To Me

roger is a shoe in,venus could be troubled but has a very good chance if she brings her A game
Jun 19th, 2006, 12:53 AM
roger has no peers on grass, and venus has only one and she won't be playing! ;)

I really do think Venus has a very good chance of making a run this year. She'll be seeded in the top 8 if the info on the Bodo blog is correct (they have a seeding calculation rubric) and has played well on her worst surface this year. She made the quarters of the French over one of two women to beat Henin on clay since 2004, and was serving intelligently all tournament. That spells success, in my book.

I Think Roger A Given Venus Depends On Her Seed To Meperhaps, it will depend on draw. but no one in the top ten has ever beaten her on grass.
she is an impressive: 11-0 on grass against everyone ranked above her. add Hingis in the mix and it's 12-0, Hantuchova 14-0!
besides, i actually think Venus plays better with a tougher draw, particularly at Wimbledon.
