I have to admit I've never seen her play, but she seems like she's a player with lots of potential. I hope this week at Birmingham has given her a great confidence boost and she has a good run at Wimbledon!

The only time we get to see some of the up and coming players is
when they play top players at a big event. At the FO she was playing
live and ESPN showed a third rerun of Nadal or Roddick. The Media
does a great disservice to tennis by not featuring some of these
players if they are playing a close match.

But yeah it's a real shame they don't show the up and comers, that's why casual fans don't usually know many players outside Sharapova, the Williams sisters, Hingis and Davenport.

For RG the BBC only showed matches on the show courts (unless a British player was playing on another televised court) so like you said the only way you can watch the new players are if they play the high seeds.

well, hopefully she can win a few matches at wimby and draw a top player after a few rounds..and we can see her on tv..she must be talented cos she isnt the biggest and strongest player
