I know that we had such events a couple of times but as far as I am concerned those on the men´s side would be of greater interest with Rafter, Becker and those recently retired in it.

Same as on the women´s side the return of former stars like Graf, Navratilova, Evert, Sanchez-Vicario, Sukova, Maleeva and stuff are more interesting then Smylie, Nagelsen and all those retired earlier than the last 6-7 years.

I think the tennis world would need a doubles of Graf/Navratilova against the likes of Sanchez/Sukova or Novotna/Sabatini. They would put on a big show on the showcourts of the GS compared to doubles specialists like McNeal or Provis or Fernandez (Gigi) who never did great in singles.

Graf/Navratilova would be unbeatable on a lgends tour. They would proably be nearly unbeatable on the main tour!
