so what did people think of the pre match interviews at Queens and are the BBC going to do it at Eastbourne and wimbledon?,I thought it was pretty cool especially hewitt who walked straight past and refused to talk to andrew castle, james blake was pure class especially when castle asked him just before the match about his 6-0 record against roddick :D

They did it at RG too and I honestly don't like it. I mean you get all the pressconferences after the match so why do you have to interview the players before the match too, it only makes them more nervous and they won't be saying to many senseful things anyone.

Nadal refused to give an interview before his match too at RG and Hewitt's reason of big riffle against the ATP was a pre-match interview he refused to give to ESPN. I support him on that part :yeah:

yeah but do you not think it will help with the likes of eastbourne for the women,I mean RG was not showing on mainstream tv in the uk just interactive, eastbourne will be shown on a main channel(bbc2) and I guess a lot of causal viewers will flick over and see wta players they will never have seen before so I really think it will help, you have to think about the average tv viewer not tennis fans.
