When I first realized what 'reputation' was on this board, I thought the idea was awful. But actually, it's not bad. First off, most of the 'bad' reps I get are hysterical. Seriously ROTFLMAO. And the good reps are warm fuzzies, so what the hell.

And all credit to Joan Jett for the thread title.

When I'm bored I look back on my bad reps and revel in the anoyance I once caused!

You got a bad reputation
That's the word out on the town
It gives a certain fascination
But it can only bring you down
You better turn yourself around
Turn yourself around
Turn it upside down
Turn yourself around
You had bad breaks well that's tough luck
You play too hard too much rough stuff
You're too sly so cold
That bad reputation has made you old
Turn yourself around
Turn yourself around
Turn it upside down
Turn yourself around

I think those who badrep always reveals who the sourpuss, "I take this board way too personally," "i'm too emotionally attached to my favorite who doesn't even know who the hell I am," types, are :D

I like reputation - it's nice to see who agrees with you on certain issues. It lets me know whose posts I should keep an eye out for.

I don't really ever bad rep because it's just not worth it. I don't want to dwell any longer on an irritating post/poster than I have to. On the other hand, giving good reps is fun, but I like to save them for when I strongly support or enjoyed what the person said.

agree with everything that was written

last week I received my first bad rep from someone who wrote "boring thread"

indeed it was my first thread with more than 100 answers and people reactions were good, don t understand
I want my revenge because that guy just like boring thread like "Sharapova's new bras" or "Serena in a campaign for diet coke"

At the beginning, I didn t know at all that we can receive reputation points, but when I saw I ve received some I also began to give it back!

Sounds like someone is trying to employ a little reverse psychology to get a bad repper off their back.

exactly how I feel, and if get bad rep I just return the favour!I don't even bother. If anybody took the trouble for a bad rep, I'm even just for troubling them that much.Sounds like someone is trying to employ a little reverse psychology to get a bad repper off their back.Nope. Bad reps are fine with me. It's only an opinion. And if a poster you respect happens to bad rep me, (hasn't happened, but you never know) then I know I really need to look at what I've posted.

The best ones I got were for the thread about Maria turning American. I mean I know it was a dumb poll but I was just killing time and it actually took off!!!! Anyways, some assface said it was a 'racist' thread :retard: and badrepped me then I accidentally goodrepped him back

Also I got one from someone for saying that people who hated 'Maria's model/ball boy choosing fiasco' were probably uglies anyway. I knew I was asking for it then!

I am a member of a non-tennis board that has 'karma' points, and I found it quiet pointless... it seemed to bring out the creepiness in some people, as they scrounged for what essentially amounted to popularity points. For a while you could give out bad and good karma, but then people complained so now they only allow you to give good karma...

What I don't understand about rep points here is that I have like 250,000,000. What does that mean? I have only been posting here about 2 weeks?? It seems such a random number
