Once you are so reliant on the internet it is really hard when it is taken from you. Not so long ago my laptop broke. As campus is a little way away I had no internet access unless I was actually at University. I certainly found out how reliant I had become on the internet, msn and wtaworld. Its actually really scary just thinking about. Realised that I waste so much time just browsing and doing non-constructive things.
When my laptop wasnt working I got all my essays done before the night of the deadline, and thus avoided allnighters. I also managed to get some solid revision done. I never done proper revision before in my life :)
Anyway, when I got my laptop working again I realised how I actually really really bored when I go the internet, and to try and get rid of my boredom I just continue browsing. I hope I dont end up like i used to - continuously wasting time on the net and never getting things done.

Thus the question is have you become overly dependent on the internet/msn/wtaworld?

I'm not addicted to any of the above.

Though I can spend too much time doing all of those things, I can go without pretty easy.

Same here,

When I am bored or when I have to study then I am here/on msn/... but when I am not at home, with friends, boyfriend,... I could easily do with it for weeks

Guess I waste a lot of time on the internet. Now that I think about it, I would rather be on the internet than watch almost anything on television (except tennis !)..
