View Full Version : Mauresmo's forehand: improved a bit?

I didn't watch yesterday's match against Chakvetadze (not her best match from what I've heard), but in the match against Dushevina, what struck me is Amelie's much more aggressive forehand.
The commentator also mentioned it.
Don't get me wrong, it will never be her best shot, and there's probably much more work to do... but there was definitely improvement, which means she's aware of her weaknesses.
IMO, Mauresmo + strong forehand could be terrific for the WTA...

Most definitely, there has been a massive improvement in the forehand over the last year or so, she is being more aggressive on that side and it is paying off.
