Last week, Lauryn Hill did a secret show at the re-opening of the W New Orleans. (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/%20search/hotel_detail.html?propertyID=2030)

A guest at the hotel managed to capture five minutes of the impromptu concert on camera (no, we don't expect you to watch it all, unless you are a die-hard fan.) She did a set of new and old inside the whiskey bar/lobby of the w hotel on poydras street. she was 2 hours late (w/no apology). besides being about two hours late, she killed us all loudly with her song. she also didn't talk about new orleans which is why she was there. so, i was put off.

We're put off too which is why we are going to watch Sister Act 2 (http://imdb.com/title/tt0108147/) and reminisce about the good ole' Lauryn days.

I would love to get inside her head.

Me too. I expect some manic, drug induced montage similar to the ending of Requiem for a Dream.

I didn't watch the whole thing but did she say "oh yeah" the whole five minutes? :scared:

She's way beyond annoying at this point.

She's been nuts for a long while now. That legendary Rollingstone article pretty much covered everything.

I assume she is still worshipping at the throne of "Brother Anthony", the one and only sanctioned interpreter of God's Word. Bitch crazy. That's all.

Oh and she's also a damned thief. But that's a whole 'nother topic. At least the people she stole from got some of the money they deserved though.

Well, it's hard to judge the performance because the quality of the footage was so poor. The audience seemed to enjoy it. I don't see how you can criticize her sanity from a short snippet like that.

I'm surprised no one at that concert phoned a psych ward and had her committed!
