Hingis can move better on clay because she usually has such impeccable balance. However, Dementieva is no chop liver on clay. She can still blast those groundies for winners on clay especially on the run and from that forehand wing.

I wouldn't say Hingis is way better on clay, especially now that this is only her 5 match on clay after 4 long years of not playing on this surface.
