Where & when was your last vacation?

I'm really in need of a vacation (well....who isn't ;) ) and trying to plan one for this summer. Looking back - my last vacation (where I actually traveled somewhere) was back in late October-early November of 2003. :sad: It was only a week's vacation but I was finally able to visit London (and loved it). :p
How about everyone else?

My last vacation was last september to Moscow and St. Petersburg (and Novgorod too actually).

Las Vegas, new years

It wasn't a real vacation but it was the last time I took a trip. It was 2 weeks ago. I went with hubby to Boston. He was running the marathon and couple of other wives from his club were going so I decided to go also. I won't tell yawl everything but let me just say this much. DO NOT DRIVE IN BOSTON!!!!!!!! The freeway signs were a mess!!! Got lost everyday. :( Otherwise it's a nice city. :)

Mine was last August/September and I went to the USA with a friend cos we had both just celebrated our 21st birthdays :cool: We went to Chicago, New York, LA and Vegas :bounce: Loved every minute of it! :D

Last year in April, I visited Turin, Milan, Florence, Rome [amazing experience with the Pope dying and all], Pompeii, Naples, Venice and some smaller villages like [Orvieto, Ravenna, San Gimignano, Sienna, Lucca,...] in twelve days time.

Two weeks ago I went cycling in Limburg (NL), but that was just for a weekend.

well the last time i went on a plane was back home to England in Spring Break
before that i went to Barbados but that's not a "vacation" since my family lives there
so i went to Mauritius last February and i LOVED it. i hope to go back to the same place (La Pirogue) as soon as possible.

I went to New Orleans during Christmas vacation to visit friends.

My next vacation is to Florida in a month. :woohoo:.

Hmm well I went to Perth for 4 days and Hobart for 2 in Jan, but that wasn't really a vacation, so Europe last June/July. I went to England, NL, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria and Czech Rep... think that's it. Oh I went through France, but only on the train (same for Germany). ;)

last october i was in amsterdam for 5 days which was great...nice people, brilliant weather, fantastic city... and a few days later i went to belgium to the tennis tournament in hasselt. my friend who lives in belgium went with me,so we had a lot of fun...

Hehe, Rome is just amazing! You'll have a fab time I'm sure! I was actually wondering when the Rome tournament was on just in case I was there when it was on, then I realised I would be almost a month late cos I'm in Rome in June! Nevermind :lol: ;)

The shops are - well they were when I was last there - amazing, the food is in my opinion pretty much the best in the world (but I do love Italian food :D ), the history/culture is just among the best in the world, really cool and interesting, the people are lovely, the weather's gorgeous - not too hot, not too cold ;) Only downside is the traffic and drivers are a bit insane I find :tape: ;)

Last time I was in Rome, I kept bumping into Bill Clinton and his daughter :lol: I swear everywhere my parents and I went, they came shortly after us with all the secret service and police etc, think they were stalking us...;)
